omg, i just got my army letter this afternoon. going in on april 11th. same day as eugene aka tongni. hope same camp. confirm fun.
logic being. u go in early, come out early. for jan ppl, u'll have 6 months when u come out, free. for april ppl, 3 months be4 u go in, and 3 months after u come out. so that means. but why april. it should be jan! now find job's more difficult. cos ppl are more likely to hire 6 months. and working for 6 months is a subset of working for 3 months. it just means, i can take more jobs if i go in in jan.
besides a big drop in job ranges, pay also drops. status is different. one is be4 going to army. so u're paid like a normal student with holiday. but after u come out, the pay is ORD status. in other words, its higher. so its a lost of MY economic resources.
looking at the bright side, i cant do anything, so i'm taking it, with regrets. haha. although i have more time to play, but there is still a limit. u play alrdy also will sian. but, i'm gonna make use of this time, to train up, probably learn a new instrument and of course hang out and have fun.
